reviewed on: 11/25/2020 by Linda HenryI was extremely happy with the room he had and the food was outstanding. they had a great variety and they did take requests The staff went out of their way to take care of my dad and was really nice. The facility is super clean and they took care of rooms and made sure they were clean. I would recommend this community.
Caring and supportive

After visiting quite a few she decided on Brookdale Rancho Mirage due to the friendly atmosphere when she walked in and because they provide assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. She wanted to be sure we wouldn't have to find another place when she needed more services. She has lived at Brookdale for 6 years and we have been very satisfied. Just recently we had to move her to the memory care wing of Brookdale. This is when we found just how caring and supportive the staff of Brookdale is. Not only for our mom but for our family and our requests for mom's comfort. The staff is the best and there are activities to help keep mom engaged. They treat her as I would and I am so appreciative for their care. We rest a bit better when we are not with mom knowing she is cared for by the knowledgeable and compassionte staff.

reviewed on: 04/07/2017 by AnonymousWe toured this community for good care. The community did not have the feeling that we were looking for. This has a locked area that we were not comfortable. This community seemed limited. The staff were nice and answered the questions we had for the care. They offer a good menu of healthy meals. The activities are very helpful for the residents. We would suggest families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

reviewed on: 01/03/2014 by FamilyThey are quick to respond. The food is absolutely out of the ballpark good. The activities are good for most of the residents. They've had a change over in staff, and they did hire a clinical director, the main nursing person was a new hire and now it's the clinical director. The communication could use some improvement. To know who to report to, once we were done with the initial marketing person, we just didn't know who to go to for information and things. When we first walked in the dining room we liked the way it was laid out, it was really friendly.
