Community Reviews
He likes it, and that is the most important thing.
reviewed on: 10/27/2014 by AnonymousIt's kept really clean. The people are friendly. The food is good, he likes it, and they have been very accommodating, with fruit plates. If I call they will go check on him. He likes it, and that is the most important thing. We don't really need any care services right now, so we aren't paying for any services. There was a lady who wanted to go to the 99 cent store one morning, and there wasn't enough room on the bus, and they aren't willing to make two trips. It's really a nice place though.
Grandmother Likes It
reviewed on: 09/24/2013 by GranddaughterThey were just extremely helpful and very quick with their response. It was probably the best value for the budget that we had. They have two outings per week, the do singing groups, regular bible study, and nail polishing activities for the ladies. My grandmother likes it. She said the food is actually very good.
extremely welcoming and very nice
reviewed on: 12/16/2014 by AnonymousThey are extremely welcoming and very nice. The only thing where I do wish they could improve is their administrative area, handling of the paperwork. I had to send in the same paper work multiple times which was a bit frustrating. As far as the people there go and the place itself, the place is just as great as can be. Just a few small improvements needed on the administrative side of things.
Three Stars
reviewed on: 11/05/2015 by AnonymousThe location and the environment I would rate a four-stars. When I put my loved one in there, i spoke to the director and he was very gracious and provided good information, but I told him my aunt was a very shy and needed encouragement to get out of the room and do some light exercises and last time I visited she seemed so weak and she couldn't walk. She also had developed a terrible cough, so I took her out of there immediately. There was just a lack of care.
Need More Caregivers
reviewed on: 02/24/2016 by AnonymousI've have my concerns about La Habra and mostly it is due to the fact I feel they are under staffed. My mother is in the memory care unit of the community and if they had more caregiver's my mother would be able to get more attention. The caregiver's they do have here are very nice and helpful but there is only some many of them to help. I would say to anybody about to move here is make sure you keep open communication between you and the staff so they understand your loved one needs. I just think this place needs more caregivers to help out.
