Community Reviews
A place where you can go to rest. You don't have to worry about anything and are taken care of.
reviewed on: 10/18/2021 by CatherineI liked that they had private rooms and bathrooms. I also liked the interaction with other people, especially at meal times. I liked their security - employees knock on the door before they come in. Although there was one incident where a male employee came into my locked room at about midnight looking for a security token they told me I had lost. I told him to leave and send a female employee, and he did leave. In the morning I found the token they were looking for. Some of the food was microwaved, which I didn't care for. But the dessert was good. And I liked that if I didn't come down to a meal they would come and check on me. I enjoyed the exercise activities. Overall I felt I paid a little too much. I also felt I was the first Native American that had staid there. A lot of the people there were Anglo and non-minorities.
Mom's first year
reviewed on: 12/09/2018 by PhxcatgirlMom has been at The Stratford for a year now. They have done a great job of dealing with her "special" issues as a smoker. We toured several facilities and still feel this is one of the best available for the price. Mom feels she is in a fancy hotel/apt building - the decor and ambiance are very nice verging on elegant in mom's opinion. Our family members travel a lot and never worry about her well-being or care. They have a well rounded list of activities. Communication is very important.
A Better Home For Dad
reviewed on: 09/09/2016 by AnonymousThe transition for my dad has been very well. He has nice staff that are friendly and I have no problems with communicating with the staff. As far as I know, my dad likes the meals that are being served to him. The community offers activities and if dad chooses he will participate. I would recommend this community to family if they need the same care.
The Stratford
reviewed on: 11/13/2017 by AnonymousI toured The Stratford for my mother, and I thought they had a really great program, but I thought that my mother would be unhappy with the rooms. They seemed a little small to me, and I knew she wanted a room on the first floor. They unfortunately did not have any opening s for rooms on the first floor, so we continued our search.
