Thrilled with the Amethyst Arbor!

Eric provided multiple tours to assure that our family members were all comfortable and all of our questions were answered. He was very kind and patient. Everyone involved with my mom's move in were wonderful. Unfortunately, my dad was hospitalized and diagnosed with metastatic cancer on the scheduled move in day. He died 2 1/2 wks later. All of the staff was very compassionate and attentive to my mom while my dad was dying and after. Our whole family got to spend time at the Amethyst and were all so impressed with how lovely our mom's apartment is and how beautiful the common areas are and how wonderful the staff is. Everything is bright and cheerful and homey! The grounds are so beautiful with flowering bushes and grass. The whole place is immaculate and never has bad odors. There are so many helpful services. It has been such a huge assistance and relief to our family. My mother is kept safe. The dining room is lovely and the meals are very good. The service is excellent. The residents seem happy and well cared for. I hear all of the staff calling the residents by their names. My mother receives continuous competent and loving care. She feels very safe and we have confidence in the very efficient staff. Everybody is so helpful and loving. I am a nurse and have very high standards. I am totally impressed with everything! Every medical professional I have spoken to who knows the Amethyst has nothing but positive feedback. Most of all, my mom is happy with her new home!
Located In A Nice Area

The staff is nice very friendly and very accommodating when you ask them to do something they get right on it. . Mom really enjoys being here. She likes the food good portions. They offer a lot of activities. It is just a pleasant environment to be in.

reviewed on: 10/30/2016 by AnonymousI was very nervous about placing my mom in someone else's care, but the staff at Amethyst Arbor have earned my trust. They helped make a difficult transition as easy as possible. Everyone has been very flexible and accommodating. Every staff member, whether a sales representative, a maintenance worker, a server in the dining room or a care giver, seems genuinely happy to be working there. I am thankful to have found a place that truly feels like home for my mom. I am now able to start living my life again without the constant worry over my mom's health and safety. What a relief!
It's been a good place
reviewed on: 05/16/2015 by AnonymousIt's been a good place. The food is pretty good. The only minor issue I had is that they could of did a better job at the orientation. They should of let everyone know what happens at the facility sooner. Other than that, we are very happy with the Amethyst Arbors. It's a nice place. They have a lot of activities. Everyone is very friendly. The staff has been accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this place.
A Wonderful Tour
reviewed on: 07/26/2016 by AnonymousMy tour of this facility was fine. The community appeared to be well maintained from what I saw. The staff was kind and courteous. Everybody was wonderful. The problem was that my parent would live in the assisted living portion of the community. They would have to hire some extra care for my mother memory care. My father didn't like the sound of that. It is a good community with wonderful people.
