Community Reviews

a great place to have fun

reviewed on: 04/22/2021 by Shirley

The residence is very friendly and always speaks to you and it easy to make friends here. The community is pet-friendly and has a dog park. The staff is very friendly and nice and the community is well kept and clean. I would recommend this community to others.

Would Absolutely Recommend Them

reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by anonymous

They are highly flexible. We appreciate that they accept VA benefits. And they're pretty conscientious. When they hire, there's a pretty thorough screening process. The owners are amazing. We've had just one caregiver the whole time. My loved one feels really comfortable with her. We've had some last-minute schedule changes, and she's been there for about 99% of them to help us out. She's pretty friendly and stays on top of things. My loved one doesn't need a high level care, but she's there to help with some of the things he does need.

Look around for options

We chose Griswold Home Care because it was needed at the time and I did not have a lot of time to look around. We have never had any issues with scheduling so that has been good. It is a 3rd party to a 3rd party, I report to a hiring person and then she calls the director of the company so it can get a little messy if we have any issues. I would recommend to others who are looking, but it is expensive.

Tour of Cedarhurst

We toured Cedarhurst and it was great but we did not get that homey comfortable feel that we got at other facilities. For instance, their activities room is in the basement and it just kind of felt like I was at a convention.

Review of Town Hall Estates

reviewed on: 06/14/2021 by anonymous

Town Hall Estates is an older facility, the staff here were nice for the most part. The nursing care was not the best, so if it comes to the time again, I will most likely pursue a different facility for care. I never met the director here until it was time for us to leave and they were not the best with communication.
